We will accept payment through finance for the purchase of your horsebox, which enables you to spread the cost of your purchase to manageable levels to suit your budget.

We have partnered with Sussex Asset Finance Ltd and have worked with each other for many years, they offer competitive finance packages and can help to make the purchase of your horsebox as easy and stress free as possible. They are fully regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority so you can be sure you are in safe hands. Whatever your requirements, they can offer a package individually tailored to your needs and are able to place the finance in your own name or your company name.

There are 2 types of finance options; both require a deposit but this can be structured to meet your requirements and budget, you may be able to trade in your existing horsebox and put this towards the initial deposit, or if you wish, just put down a cash deposit.

Lease Purchase

What is it?

This is a popular choice of finance as the monthly repayments are lower due to a large payment at the end of the term (known as a balloon payment). We can arrange a term of up to 5 years with the balloon payment taken at the end, the interest rate is fixed which means you’ll know exactly how much you will repay throughout the term of the agreement. The balloon payment is calculated on the anticipated value of the horsebox at the end of the agreement. If financing in a company name, we may be able to arrange a VAT deferral of up to 3 months

When the balloon is due at the end of the term, you have 3 options:

1: Keep the horsebox and pay the balloon in full
2: Sell the horsebox and settle the outstanding balance due to the finance company
3: Refinance the balloon at the end of the term – subject to credit approval.

Hire Purchase

What is it?

A simple way of financing that gives you the certainty of a fixed interest rate, and fixed monthly payments throughout the agreement. We can arrange finance to paid over any term up to 5 years. There is no large payment at the end of the agreement, so once you have paid all your monthly payments and any fees you will own the horsebox in full.
