PRB specialise in aluminium coach building techniques. This time-honoured construction system ensures longevity, combining strength with durability, which dovetails with the company’s philosophy of offering quality workmanship which, in turn, creates a quality product at an affordable price. This is backed up by our after-sales department that specialises in all after-market activities such as servicing, ministry testing, insurance accident repairs and specification upgrades to existing boxes.
From its initial conception in 1990, PRB has developed organically from hands-on knowledge of horses, grooms and the equine environment. This in turn has paved the way to a successful and highly-regarded horsebox manufacturing company with an international customer base.
Over the years, the concept of horse transport has moved on to what is now mostly a recreational vehicle that majors largely on human comforts and needs, all of which have arisen as a result of the complex competition rules that are now apparent in our modern-day sport. PRB caters for the individual needs of both human and equine.
PRB has retained a loyal workforce, most of whom have been with the company since its inception and have developed into hard-working team members that are encouraged to think for themselves and spend time with customers who call at our workshop to view our facilities. All of this has resulted in over 2500 new units being sold and a 60%+ referral rate in sales… a figure we are very proud of.
Most importantly, PRB is noted for its enduring quality. Due to the success of our bespoke new-sales, we have built up a position and a reputation for offering a wide range of excellent pre-loved vehicles. Our range varies from the appealingly compact 14′ 7.5-tonne, to the extensive 33′ 26-tonne version.
